Racked ... no stacked and strapped ( to a tree or the support beam on my porch )

Agreed not a great way to start off a sales add :person_shrugging:

Stainless steel pots with a drain whole and valve installed

I keep it that way so the total build expenses are 1700 bucks

Extractor build - $1700

Thinking you saved money by endangering yourself and others - Priceless

If it’s run correctly and strapped to a support beam the only thing you’d be in more danger of is throwing ur back out when you lift the material column

What’s your method from pouring/removing extract from collection aka solvent tank?..

Would be a nightmare Imo…lol

This 4 real?

Wtf…

So wait, homie spent 1700 to build this death trap, and is wanting 3k for it???

What in the flying fuck???

This fucking threads going to the echo chamber like last time. Jesus.

This is not something that should be advertised as a usable unit for sale.

Edit: to be clear, I would have left this and not even commented if he titled it differently, like saying parts for a system blah blah blah. But we all know dude would have sold it saying it’s a fully working system. We shouldn’t let that happen as a forum imo.

Agreed. It’s obvious this isn’t a functional system. It isn’t safe, or realistically operable.

I’m gonna move this back to the classified section. While not the best designed. It should work with proper safeguards

Let’s not move topics until the op really makes it off topic or it moves that way.

Lol thermodynamics work everywhere.

What ā€œsafeguardsā€ would make you feel good enough to run this?

You can’t just unclamp something above a filter stack it will still have pressure in the clogged areas

I gotta disagree, having that thing be vertical like that is dangerous. Ball valves are not designed to hold that much weight, I don’t think anyway.

That thing needs a rack and an actual proper sized collection I’d say for it to even be functional.

Edit: even a title change by the op would suffice to me. Then I’d say it belongs in the classifieds.

I’d much rather see a proper collection. A 4x36ā€ spool rather 8ā€ as the collection is rather small
For the collection. Prvs on the collection, solvent tank, top of the material column.

That should do it.

I think a proper collection and matched material column would be most important.

If it were me. I’d use the 2 solvent tanks as solvent tanks. They look fine. I’d buy 2 new full extractors 10x12 with a matching material column. Sell the 8ā€ stuff to someone that needs it.
