Preference. I’ve done both, but I like heating my mold first. I find it acts as a pre-press and helps get your bag uniform.
Never bothered with parchment in the mold, as long as you got rosin bags you should be fine. If you’re using rosin bags I would also recommend doubling them up.
Until the flow of rosin stops.
That is a topic of much debate and I recommend using the search bar to see what other folks have done.
Keep away from light and heat.
Granted, my only experience is with THCa inputs, but the concept and execution should remain consistent.
Oh, duh, I’m sorry I misread. I thought you were asking about rosin. Yeah you’ll want parchment for your mold so that your hash doesn’t stick to the mold, and I still recommend getting your mold warm to help press everything together. How long to keep it pressed is a topic that is also discussed quite a bit, I’ve heard of folks doing things like putting hash wrapped in clingwrap in the heel of their shoe or just leaving it in a mold with weights on top. I’m less familiar with curing hash than I am with curing rosin, again I’d recommend using the search bar for that. As for storage, as well as light and heat DEFINITELY keep away from moisture.
Freezer is great for pakkages that need opening often
As for scale long storage I like the room temp vacuum more
I should also note that IF tepees are mixed in the resting at room temp gives a better overall scent dispersion than when frozen shortly after production it’s a process where the biomass present terps mixed with additional terps find a balance often better than right after production it’s Somewhat of a cure
Hi everybody allow me to revive this post. I wondering if you guys know any mold to make thick bricks(1.5 to 2.5 inches) the ones I see from manufacturers on the internet tend to to be thin. I want that thickness. If I’m in NorCal I guess my best bet is a blacksmith to achieve what I want. The type of press mold that you might see on Morroco. Do you guys have any idea if I can workaround this ?
