Why do really purple strains come out so much darker when running through CLS?
Pics? Anthocyanins give it the purple color.

Phenol oxydase. Anthocyanin is a phenol, and water soluble. It’s more than likely just part of the plants genome

Thank you and just left the lab I’ll post a pic Tom. But this the 3 strain of some purple buds I’ve ran that came out darker. I ran some trim after running that purp and trim came out way lighter lmao.

With some purple strains, at least a little bit of the purple is also in the tricome. I never really noticed until I got some purple rosin came out of the press.
