$300+ from speaking to the artist. Not sustainable, but trying to jump the gun before companies like MJ Arsenal source something mildly equivalent from China.
Granted there are Peak tops going for 2.5x+ the price of the device, but the point of this is that it’s travel friendly.
I paid $1100 for a crushed opal peak top and wish I didn’t LOL. But $300 for that is insane for something that isn’t going to be my daily driver. Those will be like $30 in no time hahaha. Good on him though.
I love my peak pro. I’d agree it’s all about the convenience and time saving aspects. I feel like with the 3DXL it’s almost comparable to a traditional dab. I’m all for the simplicity. I always make myself laugh when I’m like “oh man I gotta charge my bong” but I prefer that over having to go buy butane.
Also my non-smoker friends have commented about how they think the e-rig has a “nicer” ambiance compared to the reaction a torch seems to get sometimes.
I definitely feel like I’ve got my moneys worth for how convenient it is.
in my area a 0.5g rosin disposable is the same cost as a g of rosin. so the pivot could be a nice option.
I have a couple buddies who have had theres for a few months now. Both are stoked, so I’m pretty excited to see how she rips. Extra atomizers, dab tool, a carry case and portable dab station for 200$ I have high hopes as well lol
Yessir, pretty much all the pieces are magnetic. Buddies sent me a couple function videos and they certainly produce a good amount of vapor. Going to have to see how durable they are. Really interested to see how the bottom flow feature works for the atomizer, or if it does any difference at all.
I’d recommend spare atomizers, magnetic glass guards (conical piece that goes over the atomizer) & an extra airflow stem.
The atomizers need a good bit of time to soak & dry based off the design. I tend to be a bit over the top in terms of cleanliness, but you will inevitably make a mess in under 10 dabs just from loading & splashing inside the chamber.
I also find the Go has a tendency to give you a burnt hit as an FYI.
Appreciate the tips!! I’ve always actually preferred my dabs on the hotter side around 485-500F, though I hope I can avoid that burnt taste at the lower setttings. Any insight on the durability of the Go?
I got a Go after seeing the hype here. My dabs are on the small side these days and even at the lowest temperature setting the hit tastes like a rip off a too hot nail. Not having to clean is nice but otherwise unimpressed.
The case it comes with is pretty beefy/protective, but the glass is like an e-rig in terms of thickness. I consider it a home piece, but I’m not big on taking glass out.
It’s kind of easy to accidentally dry burn an atomizer in my experience. Load a diamond & some sauce- sauce might give you a flavorful hit, but you’ll probably have some dry spots along the outside where the diamond didn’t decarb & melt.
Important to remember that the main part of the atomizer where you load is meant to drip the hash down to the part of the atomizer that does the heating to vaporization. Due to this, you’ll often not get a hit on your first rip on a clean atomizer & you’re almost certainly wasting hash in the long run just to keep the atomizer hitting.
Load extra & it’ll lead to you having to clean sooner.
Well shit fellas, I was gonna pull the trigger on the GO today, I think I’ll actually wait and get the new carta instead. Appreciate the insight, experiences and steering me away from something i might have regretted.
If you have any good connections at dispensaries, you can always see if some bud tender that doesn’t dab would be able to hook you up with a discount code from their brand awareness courses if they use Learn Brands, Seed Talent or anything similar. Puffco currently has two courses out with completion granting you a 40% discount on a device.
…or you can pick your least favorite MSO on any of the sites, register as an employee there (zero verification) & thank them for granting you access to those courses so you can get your discount. Dependent on your moral flexibility.
Don’t quote me on it, but I think that may also cover your warranty while wholesale usually doesn’t.
