Have you ever used these, ive always just done 1-2 wraps of ptfe tape on the top 1/3 if need be. But anything that gets me a few more microns im all for

Why would I use this over joint grease?
No risk of contaminating your product with grease. Could also help seal up a bad joint in a pinch.

do you recommend using these wherever a male and female port meet?

No experience with them myself, but I would probably just use them in areas where grease contamination would be more likely, and use grease anywhere else. I would think they would be great on boiling flasks and the connection between your cow and collection flasks.

We sell these sleeves and have stock in a bunch of different sizes. They are really nice for grease free connections, but they do not hold crazy low vacuum. I would say if you are operating below the 200 micron area then they are not going to hold.
