Hey! I came home from holiday and had some free time to try it out with a sample.
Aiming for a structure similar to the average dry sift hasj comming out of marracco. Thc procentage around the 30% Mark.
Took your afvise and used some 22% CBG pollen. Not really satisfied with the end result and its clear thcA are participating out of the final product. Will try to take a test tube and boil/decarb some extract at a later point soon to see what kind of residens/oil turns of it and if its easier to work with.
Here ive mixed 10g extract with 20g CBG Kief.
Maybe try removing 2 grams of your live resin and fully decarb it prior to mix. See if that texture is more to your liking. Honestly looks better than I thought it would lol
Ok there’s a law of crystelization you should not forget about by using pure thc-a it will show fast in a crystelizes form since it has no solvent
Reason I recomend 20% thc-a to 10% thc ratio
NOT 20% thc to 10% thc-a for in this ratio the thc act s as a solvent for the thc-a making it hard to crystelize and you will want the thc-a to become a crystal to avoid ending with a gooey product due to the high oil load
The high terpene amount in your concentrate
Acts like a solvent and and this will give discoloration of your pollen aka kief
Some strains less some more so try to find the strains (concentrate ) with least aggressive terps high linalool is better then high limoneen
Not sure what biomass you can get a hold off but I have often found washed pollen better to suit these products than natural
Pollens that have been washed to lower their thc content are often also stripped from their fats and waxes leaving a dry cellulose rich

Material has less fats waxes and cannabinoids and terps
The washing of the terps also helps more often than not to keep the sent en flavor of end product since the pollen already have a terpene profile and mixing is not always a good
Smell/taste
If the discoloration is not deu to heat in the process it s defenatly the terps acting as solvent
Try to process cool /cold all solvents ( including terpenes are less aggressive / dissolving when cold
