Precision X10 MSE

I am looking into the Precision X10 MSE system and would like to hear thoughts/opinions on this system from those of you (if any) that have used it. I would only be using this system for ethanol extraction only so any feedback on that specifically would be awesome.

Thanks

Looked up it s features but not something that i would buy for ethanol extractions
Reason # 1 would be the amount of solvent lost with canabimoids in biomass because it is not beeing spun
Also the other aspects seem cumbersum And slow
Nah i would DM @siosis for his future spiny thing

Spinny thing definitely new model name

I assume you are going for CBD?

I would love to have a centrifugal ethanol extractor but none of the systems currently available are compliant in my region. It’s unfortunate but precision is the only ethanol system that is certified compliant in Australia. I’m still doing research for other systems but it’s not looking great.

I know it’s not likely, but if you’re familiar with Australian compliance standards for extraction systems and have a centrifugal system available, I would love to have it. I am going to be piecing together a list of what these regulations require at some point (it’s obnoxious), but for companies like Delta, it’s not worth their time or money to manufacture one for the market here. So most likely, it’s not worthwhile for you either.

@raghanded This will be for both CBD and THC extraction. My current plan is to extract with ethanol, solvent recovery with falling film, decarb in a reactor, and finally distill in wiped film. This is all WIP but it’s the general idea at the moment.

I think you are going to find the X10 to be underwhelming in terms of volume.

Not familiar with Australian regs

I agree, the system overall in comparison to its centrifugal counterparts is extremely sad. At this very moment, I simply don’t have a choice unfortunately since Australia is ridiculous and it simply isn’t worth it for most companies in North America to produce compliant systems for the aussie market.

Hey. I’m actually looking at precision’s Mse x10 as well. Only we will be using it for butane/propane extraction 70/30 blend. Does anyone have any thoughts on it for bho extractions?

My buddy’s cousin has one of these. The Judge they call it. He owns a dispensary and cultivation/distro down in LA, not licensed for extraction though.

He wants to sell this unit if anyone is interested. It’s brand new, never been used still in the crates sitting in the basement of his warehouse. DM me for more info.

And a falling film to recover ethanol. And maybe if your facility can maybe you could just use a fuge to spin out your used biomass at the end and collect the rest and distill.
