you’ll need to do a single solvent dewax, and/or run colder and faster to pick up less fats. Generally very cold and fast is sufficient however dewaxing helps greatly.
Your fats and lipids are all in the terp portion. Once the THCA falls out of the solution it will concentrate the fats you had in there to begin with and they will cause your terp portion to be thick.
