Throw a piece of ice or dry ice on lid just long enough to reduce pressure then change lid

I was going to ask for clarification on that: whether the buckled lid somehow tightened the seal, or blew out all the pressure when it buckled, hence the double lid question. I think I misunderstood that part of op post. Theres alot of sexy curves on these saturation charts to balance

No they buckled and still held the pressure. Got lucky on these 2. Not so much for the one I decided to fuck with.

Yeah I don’t know why I worded it like that but people tend to forget that if it is pure with little to no inclusions then it’s still going to taste like something.

I would argue that if there is nothing to actually taste in the crystalline
the bitterness is coming from the chemical reaction of vaporizing said crystalline. Have you tried ingesting pure decarbed THC?
I guess I was implying that vaporized THCa had a chemical taste. I have eaten disty but never pure THC by itself. I assumed the bitter taste from the disty was from a pH thing or from whatever was leftover after the distillation process. I did vape pure decarbed THC and that stuff tasted wild.

I’m chalking it up to difference in tastes at this point. I do think this brings up a valid point that’s not mentioned or visited enough though. We do have 5 senses. It is wise to use all of them in a safe manner to become more familiar with the very thing we are studying and working with.
Yeah I would have to agree. I’m not saying you’re right or wrong I’m just trying to give my own personal experiance to the thoughts we are exchanging to try and rationalize this. Using all 5 senses SAFELY is a very good idea. Gives us a more broad perspective on what we deal with everyday.
