I would worry about residence time, and the balance between that, and the temperature variable you would use to control that. It might work, but it might toe the line regarding terpene preservation.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s difficult to make rosin quite as good as the small batches, but on the other hand, this is an idea that could actually be integrated into a production line (rosin everything, then take pressed cake into ethanol extraction for residual)
