I just grab cheap plastic/elastic garden fencing & snip out the spots I want tops to push through or that need bracing.
2/3$ a roll & it’ll cover more than your space

I love the uniformity of your canopies. You have skills.
Order all miscellaneous stuff online for 80% cheaper.
Only things I buy from the hydro store is dirt, perlite and bottles nutes. Everthing else is online.
My local guy usually matches or beats amazon. The hydro store business model of gouging everyone is hopefully dying.
Im picky and really like the squares lol.
I used to stake everything and tie down but the plastic trellis nets make it too easy. Two layers. Top and keep topping. Then when there are enough tops, i weave them through the first layer. 2nd layer is for when colas grow too heavy
I really appreciate that!
Its only recently getting better after a lot of ugly canopies haha. Plus i tend to run several different flavors at a time which makes it very difficult to train
I did the same but with one layer my last flower run, just weaved the tops into the plastic trellis I made, if they were already bigger than the slot I’d trim out the square & make sure no edges were rough then plop it through, worked the same as regular trellis stretched out & had tensile strength better than the netting trellis IMO.
I have a small mom and pops place I pick up from. I’m sure I could find it cheaper online, however I choose to shop local. It’s usually only a few dollars more.
Send me a link to the product? Ill definitely check it out
It’s cheaper in store as they have more options for size. But usually in the garden section or at desert star nursery I know it’s cheaper too!
I found one local place thats really competitive in pricing but they just arent nearly as big as the shops in Denver. I was too spoiled out there
Oh thats almost exactly what i usually use!
How big are the squares?
That’s what I mean by size difference, they have ones that vary from 1/2” -2”, I grab the 2” as they have smaller rolls too that don’t cost as much but really for a reusable washable trellis you can’t beat it too.
I usually trim out to a 3” square & it works great
Ill go check them out. Ive been meaning to check out Desert Star anyways.
Thanks for the info!
They carry fox farm & happy frog products cheaper than online, just a heads up!
Even the lowers look dynamite. Well done.
I think the lowers are nicer then some of the tops, it got to close to the light.
the ones I didnt cage that day are the mats. I caged them but later, damn i know I was responding to my own post but I didnt quote it first.
