Hella Jelly, Humboldt seeds.

Week 3 almost week 4 from 12/12, she showed signs of flower after 1 week, fruity citrus smell so far.

Phenotypes are very similar so far, mostly uniform but a little bit different tones in smell (like different food brands with the same product), 1 was a bit shorter.

Overall happy so far, this is my first grow using Humboldt seeds.

I wasn’t a fan of hella jelly, smoke was good but didn’t get much per plant.

I’m running poddy mouth and blueberry cupcake currently.

I have a friend running seed starts of that, dont know much more but it is night and day different from the development compared to the other strains right next to it. It looks like its a week or 2 ahead of the others, reminds me if the sour banana sherbert and how fast it flowers.

I’ve personally seen massive plants of hella jelly. In all fairness, those massive plants got hit pretty hard by mold. So I suppose in the end, they did give less weed.

That’s on the coast though, would love to see them done inland with less humidity.

I grew two batches of it in my little dinky tent setup and each time all yielded below what my average is by a considerable amount and it was similar enough to bbm to not justify another round.

Crazy, been hella different than blueberry muffin from what I’ve seen as well. Washed some last year that came out tasting like some tangy fruit punch. You doin seeds too right? Might just be some really diff phenos comin out

Yeah, all from seed.

Even got seeds from 2 different places at two different times. Once from cloner or whatever tf they are now, and another pack from dc seeds or some shit.

Nothing but meh for me.

More Dip N Stix from this morning, shes really packing on the frost and terp profile came out way louder due to the organic soil this round verses the indoor salts.

So my wife had emergent surgery and then her father died, all in about 4 weeks time. This meant that these plants received either no love at all, or love by a very kind house sitter, for the last 4 weeks of flowering. All in all - they still turned out nice. They trimmed up good and their smoking pretty mellow right now. Jelly Donutz is great for my gaming. Hawaiian Unicorn for those work meetings I just want to end.

Jelly Donutz (White Runtz x Hella Jelly) seed #2 (Humboldt Seed Co. gifted to me, you know who you are, they are lovely, thank you <3 ) the nose on this one is a little slighter than from seed #1 but she put out more uniform nodes. And I like how I can see the pink coming out on her. Next run - she will get more love and we may get to see her true colors.

And Hawaiian Unicorn (Hawaiian Punch x Unicorn Poop) by Thug Pug Genetics, in their in-store only seed packs at Horizon Hydroponics, so sad they closed their Lansing location. Wow - this 12 seed pack I have really enjoyed. I’ve got 3 very distinct phenotypes out of it and man, they all pack a punch. I’m keeping two, one which I have renamed Aloha Unicorn, as she has a much fruitier intensely citrus punch and really says HELLO. And this fair lady, who makes my whole house smell like a skunk rolled over and then died, very different from all the others, which were various kinds of fruity lovefest. <3 She still has hints of fruit/citrus but the stank is strong with her.

I’m looking forward to my winter harvest. I’ll be doing Aloha Unicorn, Jelly Donutz (from seed #2), and Jilly Bean. I’ve got Cheetah The Hut on deck as well - I just cannot decide if I’m ready for that whole house smell.

I’m excited to say that these with such a short phenohunt (only 19! seeds over the last 12 months) I really feel like I’ve found some keepers and I’ll be bringing them over to my licensed grow to be available early next year. Hopefully, other people will like them as much as I do.

We just finished a separate phenohunt there - with over 30 varieties from seed swapping events around the country. We’re bringing back some old stuff - doubling down on some local favorites - and leaning into full flavor, and a couple that are real dumpers for those rosin bois out there.

Flower went so fast last 2 rounds I haven’t had a chance, best I’ve done is a strait flower press and at 160* for 4 minutes she throws down the golden honey goodness @Jeremythefarmer

I’d like to share an update and some pics of the Sowahh (Karma Sour BX4)

4 packs were popped. Got 52 to survive out of 55 seeds. DNA tested them, 30 were female.

First run we are hoping to halve that amount and will run the remainders for a year or so to hopefully determine the true keeper if there is one. I feel like this seed work by Karma is as close as it can get to finding the real deal

Anyway here are some structure pics of the ladies in veg after taking the tops for clones yesterday. They don’t mind getting hammered with Ppfd I had the clones at like 5-600ppfd right after they rooted as an attempt to keep the stretch at bay that I experienced with the seedlings. Experimenting with a decent amount of kelp too it doesn’t seem like they’re too sensitive to nitrogen in veg. (Kelp could keep ‘em squatty) Also normal amount of calcium and base nutrients needed so far. (~2EC total, 5.9ph, straight coco)

Anyone who wants a free clone of the keeper(s) dm @Pattypan01 now to reserve your spot

My 2 most recent harvests. First pic is skunk hero (which actually wasn’t very skunky at all but very good) 2nd pic is planet of the grapes I took down on the 3rd. For probably the past 2 years all I’ve been running is stuff from ethos. 32"x32"x5’ vivosun flower tent. Hlg 550 eco light. The tent is a bit short so the light is turned down to approx 70%. Usually get 12-15oz. Always shy of that pound mark. I think maybe it’s because the tent isn’t 3x3.
