How is the nose on the lavender? Perfume terps have been on my list and many cultivars include some lavender
The cut we got was more reminiscent of driving past a lavender farm (which one used to operate like 5mins drive from me) rather than sniffing straight lavender. Very light and floral (obviously duh) but not like laundry. Held onto an herbal smell to it throughout flower which reminded me of chopping fresh habanero but as if I was sitting in a gh next to some gas
She did great outdoors in the Willamette valley which can get pretty wet. Easy to manage branch structure and minimal leaves so triming was quick. Bud structure was nice, doesn’t stack massive donkey dicks but she would have a nice structure for indoor, small-medium buds with many budsites and denses up really nice on the finish.
I’ve been eyeing a Gary Payton clone but it’s priced out at $800 worth or nah? Them buds look fire. Dosent look like the biggest sample/headstash though ![]()
Ohhh Willamette valley makes some fucking fire wine I bet the weed is the same. I love me some Ken Wright Cellars. His single vineyard pinots at $60 destroy some of the best 3 and 4 digit burgundy’s I have ever had.
There definitely are some heaters out here, and they will definitely let you know who’s got the best buds even if they don’t say anything. Lot of bulk growers out here tho so finding the frost bomb in the pile of shwag can be a pain.
Everyone out here who’s growing for a living can make decent looking bud but it’s the smell/terps that truly shows who’s been out here putting in the effort. That Mike’s lime is a cross a friend did of his heirloom strain he’s been outbreeding since like '06 that he calls Mike’s bud, his crosses consistently brings in a good price even with buyers that try for the lowest price.
Peyton is the best quantity/quality plant I’ve run in years. She stacks so hard and grows/trims effortlessly. A true elite. I’ve never paid for clones but I I would pay $800 for that plant if I had no other options.
You’re exactly right a few small choice bugs for the jar. And honestly I thinks it’s totally worth it top shelf for sure and she puts on weight I’m still working through trimming her by I fed ended up with over 1.5 off of a 400watt led. I’m probably gonna have a few Gary Payton clones available

cloner has payton on the menu cloner has it for less than 800 . its not in stock, but will be soon, supposed to be a stubborn rooter.
I always run 1 ml power si bloom 4-5 ml cal mag
I start with 5.6grams per gallon of bloom and 1.2 epsom 8ml hygrozyme and .5 ml agt-50 for the first 10days
Then switch to
3.6 a
2.4-2.5 b
1.2 epsom
8ml hygrozyme
1ml agt-50
For ripening I switched to jacks finish at 5.3 grams per gallon and 1.2 grams of Epsom with the same amount of hygrozyme and agt-50
Starting week 1 ph6.0 tapered down to 5.8 by day 14
