I know when dealing fems. Depending on how you pollenate I think you can get a rare male.
I know some breeders back in the day would grab pollen from several reversed plants and cube the pollen of 5 subject to promote a more stable line

Well I definitely bought the cheapest seeds online so that surely was part of the issue . This is my fourth outdoor grow and the first time Iām seeing it .
Iām aware , a couple very pollinated is no big deal , or all with a couple seeds per plant is also no big deal ( maybe even ideal ) but u guys were implying Iām gonna get hundreds of seeds in all 100 of my plants . That donāt seem to be the case tho
I think you could possible have 100s to 1000s or you can have 5.
Who knows. Time will tell but i would bet the worst and how for the best!
Pistols could be present at the same time. Seeing pistols doesnāt mean anything as far as whatās possibly seeded. Youāre relying on others like itās dead on science, itās not. Hope for the best, plan for the worst. Come harvest time, if you see to many beans for your liking blast it. Plain and simple.
Obviously blasting anything thatās heavily seeded . But If thereās a seed in every ounce or so Iāll be fine to sell it
I mean the person Iām quoting sure can be wrong . But it is science and the point of my post was to get to the bottom of that science
Hanging on to the opinion of one person is not science. Develop a data set and see where it points. FYI, 13 people here telling you that your single data point is wishful thinking is a data set
Science from a scientist on roll it up

Agriculture has to many variables
Heres my dried flower
No cure
2 weeks dry, probably longer
Bag seed
First indoor harvest
What does everyone think?
Flushed a week but HEAVY flush
Will post other plant when I properly dry it. So far have smoked a bowl of it once or twice a week to get a feel of when itāll be ready to cure for me
I mean my disbelief comes from the fact that only 4-5 people disagreed with me and only one account was from someone who doesnāt regularly troll me , and every other site said things to the opposite and claimed then to be scientifically back ( one seed per pistil , and 35-50 total seeds viable per sack ) . Iām aware this could be wrong of course so I was looking for some one to dispute or confirm it for me who had scientific or first had experience. Not the same group of trolls who comment on all my shit to give me one liners about being ā fucked ā and ignore all my questions about the scientific details or first hand experience. But it was my mistake for asking it here I should have known thatās all I would get
No, 2 are hermy. When u reverse a plant and use reversed pollen to pollinate you limit yourself in two ways. You will either get a female (mostly) or hermy and the second and most important, the offspring will never be as good as the parent. With reg seeds, the offspring can and commonly are better, stronger blends of the parents. You get a much more diverse blend of the genetics.
Looks like u cut it early and stressed bananas out of her. But youāre definitely on the right track. Document what you do and everything you see. Keep at it. You will get there soon enough.
Trolling aside (and I get it, itās a pain), these guys that are just some random internet folks to you are incredibly well respected growers in their own right. Given the bullshit in cannabis horticultural literature (FYI, Ed Rosenthal is wrong a lot), Iād take their word over whatever youāre reading. After all, they certainly have more experience growing it than some post doc at NIDA
I cut a little early yea lol. My grower friend said she was ready, checked trichomes and it added up too, very cloudy, not much amber. Gonna check again tho too.
She smokes good, as per the stress, heat if anything as I had to constantly turn the fan down for noise and its hot as fuck in my part of the state rn
Also have my inline inside my tent
Gonna work on upgrading my room temp control and work on having my inline hung/screwed to the wall on the outside of the tent with a duct line to it
99.97% female plants from seed. 1 in 4000 are phenotypically male despite carrying an XX female genotype and will drop pollen.
From the worlds best breeders Oregoncbd.
Also, if u pluck those bananas at the right time, u can paint them on a bud and get fem seeds
I plan on dabbling in some outdoor breeding after i plan a large outdoor run
First breeding attempt: failed due to weather, bugs and no way to cover them
Gonna run 10-15 very good bred seeds outdoor, any males I get will be trashed this run. Any tall/good looking ladies/naturally tall growing ladies will be thrown outside and will keep however many i have left indoor, ones that I deem worthy
I halfway agree. Fem seed is made without the presence of a male. There is no y chromosome to pass on. The plants have to be hermie or female.
I have bought a few reg seed packs lately and donāt see any advantage over fems. They both have hermies and runts. I have made fem seeds from cbd hemp and grown it by the field and not noticed any downgrade.
What the op ought to be concerned about is making sure there was not something preventable on his end that made it hermie. I got a lot of hermies out of my own seed from one crop, because it was new ground and the roots were spiraling in the planting hole. Any variety will hermie if you stress it.
