I am attempting to remediate PCNB from distillate extracted from BHO and was hoping for someone to point me in the right direction. I used the search bar and found very little information. Anything helps, thanks in advance!
I do not do a lot of distillation but a quick search yielded the boiling point of Pentachloronitrobenzene to be ~328°C, while d9-THC and most other cannabinoids should be much lower. Wouldn’t the PCNB be left behind with proper distillation?
I do not run my parameters anywhere near 300+ Celsius, so unless my logic is wrong it would not boil off
You’d be considering the atmospheric equivalent temperature for distillation not the true bp
I just reached out to my organic chemistry professor, she said my best bet would be HPLC with a hydrophobic column… of course I don’t have one of those laying around lol
