OR temp rules for presumptive testing of “Hemp”

Still doesn’t say when they are going to come and take these samples.

Interesting that it allows for 5% THC in 50% of the samples. And then only allows 0.3%.

Strange wording.

Good luck out there in Oregon. RNGesus is coming for you.

Whenever they decide to show up and test your hemp for pot…

The 5% is for mature plants
0.3% is for immature

Those would be marijuana plants according to the federal government.

And I’m wondering how they are defining mature. Because most state programs are testing things at like week 5 of flower - which is not a mature plant… at least its THC production hasn’t even come close.

5% is so much more than 0.3% or the 1% that people have been talking about at the federal level.

SO interesting to see how states are trying to combat this.

You can grow all the THCa hemp you want - but it must be less than 5% total THC - which is like 8% THCa. You know? Still plenty of THC there - to be extracted… especially if the rest of the rules are so much easier. What are they trying to do here? Lip service?

Makes 0 sense to me from a quick look…Take a look at TN, 5% excise tax on hemp products. testing required. age limits. in a state with no medical marijuana program lol. If this is a battle between licensed operators and the hemp boyz, I’d say the hemp boyz went in and conquered in Tennessee.

At this point, there’s a % of licensed operators that are currently also operating in the hemp space or considering jumping in. Id say that % is trending upwards. Looking like the hemp ban bill failed in MS. idk about MO do you know yet @Cassin

Sure.

5% THC would seem to unequivocally point at deliberate rather than accidental “hot” hemp. Even if some of the plants they sample are not actually the devils lettuce…

we haz the right to test your crop. If we think it might be pot. if you test THIS hot, we are going to assume EVERYTHING you were growing is pot…

I’m curious about the outcome for delta extractions, haven’t heard much in a while

Is that the company in missouri that was importing d9? i dont think they lost their license, but idk.

They were brining in THCa from FL to make distillate for the MO rec market

ya idk the final disposition of it. but for some reason i think they are still around
