Only The Strong sauce tek

Bigger stones equals longer crash times by reducing temp during seal, try 65f, the time will double but you’ll get more defined larger stones…

What size are you getting now, removing them at room temp will help keep together

For my buddy running a miner, he didn’t realize he had to vent slowly… Over past couple days he got slowly down to thin honey and 8-10psi… Shouldn’t he basically lock it down now maybe venting 1/4 lb psi a day over the next couple weeks?

Does it pretty much work like the jars rate of movement? But I never open, just bc jars don’t seal perfectly they barely vent bc the 1/3 Rd visual Tane goes in first 3-7 days for me

Miner op?
First week slowly vent ever day couple times a day, getting down by end first week to thin honey, really thin almost water…

Then over next 2 weeks barely burp like 1/4 lb psi maybe less every other day? Am I getting it?

For the ppl that need it dumbed a lil

I use jars but I’m trying to help him out some so anything will help greatly

Btw ppl with jars , technically you shouldn’t need to burp if you follow SOP !!!

Thanks dood!! Yes, I always dewax and run a passive system. I think it’s just following the tek using a set amont of material and solvent. And recovering to the same amount (ish). I’m kinda ocd when it comes to processing and sop. :joy:. As I just posted in the other when to cap thread. I cap at 200ml in a 24oz. jar. Then I let sit no heat till I see the seeds start. Then I moved to low 75-80 degree silicon heat mat. And hurry up and wait!

Think having enough THCa to cover the bottom helps :joy:
As mine barely covers half of the quart jar bottom . Hope no BUDdy laughs bc mines so small :scream:

So this is how you make what every one is calling sauce right and what kind of jars are best to use

No this is not sauce… This is Diamond sauce… Lil different there buddy … Just skip the cryo crash stage for sugar sauce

Or

Or another sauce recipe is… purge for HR full vac once all solvent gone(purge after all reaction is gone at room temp water bath) … Then jar honey material for 2-3 weeks for standard suace, a dewaxing column will really help your quality and temps will help

This way is only if your scared of jarring actual butane honey mix, there couple ways to skin a cat , but easiest simple method what I just wrote

Off top pic but I’m having a problem. So I’m trying to help my buddy run his system. He has a 1lb tube no dry ice sleeve. With that being said when I open the tank up too blast the tanks runs for about 400ml then the tank cuts off like the gas stops coming out. I have checked the hose the tube used different tanks but I can’t figure out why the gas stops coming out?

How hard are you packing the column?

Not that hard I pack it but I leave room. The bottom of the tube is prob tight though

Could it be vapor lock? I put a towel of dry ice around the tube while I blasted too because he doesnt have a dry sleeve and that still don’t work.

@Soxhlet @Mastercoolkeif one y’all mind chiming in…

This seems more like their area, in this field guessing just doesn’t cut it… Let’s get some the real brains on it!!!

Are you putting your tank on dry ice too?

No I’m not putting the tank on dry ice.

Ok do you take your vacuum and pull a negative vac on the column system? So it assist in pulling the Tane out… If my CC does that I’m sure CLS does…
Wait your getting real answer now

You using the vapor or liquid side of the tank valve? Generally I’ve found 1lbs coluns to hold around 2-2.5 pounds of solvent with material loaded. You make to locked out as the temp and pressure rise so it can stop the flow…you wanna go from cold to colder…or it could be you are using the vapor side which will only flow so much before the pressure equalizes.

Basically your saying in part that, if your running recovery you don’t have the right temps on each tank, the full and the empty?

Empty tank needs to colder than solvent tank

Just trying to sypher out the middle part sorry

Are you recovering or no?

No recovery. Open blast

Hit your tank with some nitrogen to move the gas. Cooling is another suggestion, heat will push , cold will pull. Another option is to run a hot tank for pressure with a injection coil in dry ice.
