I almost did. Took it out the freezer and within 10 minutes it was all liquidy again and after an hour I put it in the oven with the lid tight and it pressurized.
Cool, let it sit like that for a week or until no bubbles or anything give it a little burp, repeat.

if i do the 48 hours in dry ice, do the cannabinoids crystallize enough to seperate them from the Terp fraction. Is the additional (14-21 days) time just for growing and make the crystals bigger or does it take the time to totally crystallize the cannabinoids out?
My endproduct should not contain crystals i just want to preserve all my terps and i want to decarb the THCA crystals into THC.
Easy said i want to decarb my THCA without losing any terps, i dont know a way how i could do that without seperating the terps and cannabinoids.

Depending on your saturation level you can crash the majority of heavy compounds from your solution on dry ice for 48 hours. I usually prefer a siphon to move the terpenes off the top layer. You can pull a vac on a collection chamber and use a stainless steel braided hose to siphon off the top of your solution. If you try to pour off instead you need to do it gently. You can also do a filtration. Filtration is difficult as things at those temps clog and you need to maintain cold temps in order to not dissolve the heavy compounds back into the terps.

Donāt worry about cold crashesā¦just let the solvent pretty much evaporate. Then jar place on 85-90f, slight stir after started I can have jar done in 48hrs. Once u think its done put the sugar sauce in centrifuge. Itāll completely separateā¦take the thca decarb it then do as u please w the terps

Also, the rocks that form in the cold crash arenāt like diamondsā¦ they are thca that has grouped together, but it doesnāt have facets on the stones, they can be rexrystalized but arenāt like what you see in finished products

Whatās up guys just made an account but been reading all this tech like crazy due the last couple weeks. I have few questions mainly for after winterize after blasting. I live in southern California really hot in the summer time day and night. My question is can I set my jars outside and just let the outside heat take care of it?
Another question there a couple of videos out showing the tech but In the videos the dude just blast seals it off and puts it away does not really follow all the steps but he gets a diamond from it. Hereās the link.

Blasting right into a jar(especially if solvent and material cold)and reducing it some u can definitely grow diamonds especially if fresher by just placing it in a cabinet and waitingā¦itāll finally hit the right saturation and drops em
Might not be the safest route but itāll work if work if u donāt blow the lid in the first day or so lmao

I donāt know why itās not letting me post pictures in the group? Anyways my stuff has been sitting in a jar for about a week maybe a little bit over outside on a heating pad .did everything said theyāre holding pressure but nothing seems to be happening to anything in the liquid should I start over or let it sit longer

Have a couple questions, in a large miner or even a jarā¦if youāve sealed the vessel at your super saturation point, heat to your desired temp. With butane and itās boiling point, when you burp the vessel is it critical to release pressure slowly and stop just before the point the entrained butane boils?
If you release pressure past the butane boiling will this cause to much agitation and cause the THCa crystallize smaller like sugar?
Does temperature cycling of your jars or miner cause smaller sugary crystals?

I think I figured out my issue was the heat pad I was using I got a cheap one my vessel has been on heat since last week without anything happening.
Hereās a question I didnāt see. Can you heat it up in a crock pot?

Whats ur issue. If blast dry ice cold material and solvent you can just stick it any where warm if not vacuum oven.
For the heating pad u need paid controller to control the temperatureā¦I also lay couple towels over the heating pad if Iām forced to use it
The colder u run the thinner the mix is bc less fats
Then it can crash at room temperature
I wouldnāt use a crackpot though

Iāve tried to make diamonds several times now with no success. I do the closed loop sop and pour directly into the mason jars. Froze them for two days then into the oven around 82f with no vac. The first try they turned into a big 2 inch sugar patty after a few days. Second attempt everything was looking good after a couple days in the oven. When I went to burp there was too much pressure so as soon as I turned the lid lid it blew off 14 feet straight up and immediately the liquid in the jar muffed like crazy and spilled outā¦ my only guess is Iām not leaving the correct amount of solvent. The first time it was syrupy and the second time I left a little bit of solvent so it was still water like viscosity.
