He’s telling you that he’s not going to compete solely on price. If you’re a bargain shopper, keep shopping.

I’m tremendously impressed with your facility and operation. You are a bootstrapping, MacGuyver who wears all the hats. I’m about it. But everyone isn’t you. DCM is an excellent resource if people have less runway and a little investment.

I think I read the personal concern is when funding a mold that other customers will want and surely pay for, that is then resold and new business because of initial funded custom work… reminds me of FicklePickle having a custom item fabricated and then sold by the fabricator?, it opens a discounted pathway for others. Don’t mind the Texans when we get shwifty. Concerns and cares preached arent beating anyone over the head for the ā€œbest price.ā€ This applies to texas molds or any other shapes that would do well resold. There is middle ground in understandings and misunderstandings online. As I am sure he would attest the sample is great. All this discourse does is make me look into silicone printers and wish everyone well.

If there is significant margin concerns, custom product that will obviously be remade with or without consent after initially funded. There is room for further discourse and less ā€œrawr he’s lit online.ā€ For which I am so so guilty of.

It’s a bargain to have a customer fund you a new sku to mass produce. @Sidco_Cat
Nobody wants to patent a basic mold lol, but they definitely can recognize the value of them resold without % after funding creation. Which would imply reason for a better price, on top of a bulk initial order…

I aint about the rawr on molds lol, this is beyond me, but I do understand being upseting paying for something that will be resold later for less and wouldnt exist without your business.

@Killa12345 Love Brevard and Pisgah as well. Do you hike/bike?

Hey brother. Totally hear you. If a client orders a custom mold, that product is exclusive to the client unless otherwise arranged. Appreciate you weighing in. Rawr on molds :joy:

I think adding a signature in the mold itself of each product is important and the ultimate solution.
