Hey ya’ll! Title says it all… I just got a 55gal drum of Denatured etoh from Carbon Chemistry.

Step one, bung hole wrench

I like to install a dip tube into the big bung hole, and a quick attach air nipple on the small bung hole. Then I use a compressor to apply positive pressure to the headspace, forcing the ethanol to evacuate the barrel via the dip tube.

There you go buddy. Hand pump works fine too.

Evacuate a vessel, say a beer keg or a spare 4x48” sanitary spool.

Make a straw (dip tube), to stick in your barrel. Attach it to your evacuated vessel.

Edit: optional, after filling, place vessel in freezer…

Great answer and the direction I usually point people in.

For folks that can put the barrel on its side, on a rack, we have 2" valves…but the pump or a siphon is the way to go.

Yah it’s not the best, but it worked fine for what I needed. Plus I just grabbed on my way in to work this morning.
