KEEP SAFE ACCESS TO ADULT USE CANNABIS LEGAL!!!

It’s not just about the ability to buy weed from stores and the taxes that are funding infrastructure, schools and hospitals it’s about the fact that safe access is a priority in these times of adulterated street drugs. Sterile packaging, testing, quality control and oversight are all needed to protect the people who enjoy this adult product.

We don’t want jimbob’s* cum carts, we don’t want even the potential of fetty carts, we don’t want any kind of adulterants or non-sterile processes.

The arguments against it are there’s a spike in CUD and CHS, intoxicated driving, black market is still thriving and kids use it. There’s millions in the funds to revert back to the dark ages.

Don’t believe the hate, don’t believe the hype!!!

The most gross and ultimate example of un-sterile process at a home lab is that one gross dude who jerks it before using the cart gun. I don’t know if they exist but I’m guessing they do. The most disgusting name I can think of is Jimbob,

Once again. I lived in the same state for a decade+ and smoked the same weed and never had to deal with even close to the gross shit you bring up. And once again, I will bring up the fact that your corporate overlords are serving you irradiated weed.

Home grower that cares about his clients or some fucking slop factory that grows their weed like shit, doesn’t trim it fully and irradiates it because they hire people who are dumber than this jimbob construct you have made in your mind. You clearly need to see what EITHER side is like because it does not seem like you have any idea about both.

Well dammit just let the people have their weed.

I mean. If they didn’t hock radioactive weed bereft of all terps then maybe the view wouldn’t be so overwhelmingly negative - and the only reason they do that is because they grow weed so full of fucking mold out there it’s necessary so they don’t go tits up with no product to sell.

Which is the bigger issue. Private equity firms hiring crews full of idiots and nuking weed. Or someone at home that cares enough to risk it for the biscuit. Either you are the perfect example of how they want to brainwash someone to suckle off of the teat of corporate weed or you really (and I am respectfully saying this part) have no clue whatsoever goes into the production of your own weed and extracts. Been doing this a long time and moved a LOT of packs from people you consider scary and untrustworthy apparently and i’ve never ended up getting a staph infection or got pubes in my bag. I have however played the shit out of all the Fallout games and can say for certain RADIATION IS BAD NO MATTER HOW YOU SLICE IT.

You might find some funny stuff in the trim of the large outdoor grows in Cali. Hmong culture is very hard working but they seem to smoke a lot of cigarettes. That being said there is a lot worse in most the food we are sold at the store.

For what it’s worth, you know the weed itself has no radioactivity to it right? And every study I’ve done putting weed into a radsource and taking it out shows a statistically negligible difference in terpene content before vs after. Now, if the weed had poor terpenes or was of poor quality going in, sure it’ll still be poor quality going out, but that quality itself is not being degraded or worsened in the process.

But that’s like saying if you go to the hospital to get your arm x-rayed, that your arm is now permanently radioactive. It doesn’t work that way.

I’m not going to argue that it’s healthy to breath in inactive mold spores, I can agree with you that significantly moldy weed is probably not great for your health. But having said that, if we’re talking about killing mold and deactivating any active spores, a chemical free way such as ionization is probably the safest way to deal with it as it leaves no residual contaminants on the product itself and doesn’t change the product in any way (at least any way that impacts cannabinoid and terpene content in a measurable way).

Furthermore, irradiation is and has been approved for a long time for food safety. FDA, USDA, WHO and CDC have all approved the use of irradiation for various meats, spices and other food products as safe and harmless for consumption. I’m aware ingestion and inhalation are different, but I would wager that the process of irradiation itself is going to be relatively harmless to the end user considering it’s wide-spread use from food to surgical equipment sterilization, to probably several other industries I’m not even aware of.

But. Why do that when you could hire people that give a fuck and do it right the first time. Like they did in the scary black market that apparently has aids all over it like he thinks

Sure there are always options, and I would say there are people who are doing shitty things in both legal and black markets as well as people who produce solid quality product in both legal and black markets. Personally I don’t think whether the market is legal or black or grey dictates quality. Quality is always going to be dictated by the producer and their own agenda.

Lets just agree that the best descriptors of the MA legal market are almost exclusively slurs.
