What is the point in backfilling an oven with nitrogen? Anything other than no muffin? Diamonds?

From what I’ve read, it helps kind of “sweep” the butane out, helping to speed up the purge, and also helps eliminate moisture that’s in atmosphere when relieving vacuum. No exp with diamonds though…

Or it can be used to replace atmosphere when you are venting to do flips. Reduces the amount of oxidation in your slabs. Instead of oxygen sligghhtly changing the color over the course of a few days and flipping.
