Ya I think everyone gets 1 pump. Cause you shouldn’t be able to create some wild set up that’s not normally used.

Like everyone uses a Edward 30 or something similar. So it doesn’t come down to who can buy and use the coolest pump. It’s rly about the skill and the glass
So only pumps that have similar CFM sand ultimate vacs

OKAY!
So here’s my suggestions to keep it fair and rly make it about who’s got the best glass design and who’s the best at running it.
Everyone has to use a 20-22L mantle.
Load exactly 10,000 grams of winterized and decarbed crude. No cheating.
Everyone uses a Edward 28/30 or similar pumps that don’t have more then +- 5 CFM and all go to the same decimal ultimate vac?
Can use dual head or single head,
3 categories are judged.
Color 0 - 10 scale
Potency 0- 10 scale
Color 0-10 scale
CBD or THC used (color may need to be judged accordingly cause CBD has nicer color)
And it’s who has the highest score out of 30.
Thoughts ?

I think we need a yield category to ensure completion of runs and no tomfoolery

i like @siosis rules are criteria much more…its more about the glass then who can spend on ancillary stuff. and this cant all be about speed…potency and color definitely should be int the criteria
i like the non decarbed and non winterized thing though…thats what really will seperate the boys from men.

Okay interesting. So your set up has to be all your own companies?
We use glasscol and our own glass set up with Edwards.
So we all use thc? And the first race is pure speed? 2nd race is just pure potency ?

I would add that you can use whatever chillers and heaters you want (we all have different teks), but pump must be the same across all parties.
I’m into it
I would rather see them go with winterized/decarbed crude so we have a real idea of the rates they would get in practice.
I like the idea of 20L setups with 10kg winterized/decarbed crude.
