Hey guys! With drying season coming up I just wanted to inform everyone of some new drying methods before they invest in the old ones.
First one is a fluid-bed-based system for extraction biomass that does 500-10k lbs/hr. It’s cheaper, faster, less expensive to operate, AND retains more CBD than tumbler or belt dryers.
Second one is a microwave mixer. This one is more boutique solution for the few people doing bulk smokeable flowers. It’s expensive but causes VERY little degradation.
More information can be found here https://abmequipment.com/hemp-drying-systems/.
We also posted some testing results from last year we did for tumbler dryers if you’re kinda stuck with that solution.
I hope you find this useful and lmk if you have any questions!
