This took me a few days in a closed loop. I made somewhere between 50-75 ml. Regardless of the efficiency, the rates are still similar. At 600 lbs for 1 Liter of terps that’s 1.6 ml per LB of live. I yielded maybe 10-15 ml off a kilo of my live hemp. I got from 1-5 ml per kilo off cured year old trim. Some yielded fat some didn’t. Material comes out drier than it goes in too.

I dont think you needed to add in that last sentence, especially editing to just add in that comment. Essentially you doing the same thing. Sorry you found that condescending and negative. Just trying to help people extract terps as there is a ways to do it with less than $1000 in equipment and is quite efficient. Its kinda hard watching people spend tons of money on stuff that can be done effectively for pennies.

I used two $500 6 gallon solvent tanks, a bubble bag, heat exchanger and some stainless braided hose to process these. The most expensive thing was ordering a barrel of pentane for $1100, but it mostly was recyclable.

I honestly believe unless someone has the right situation going, steam tech is gonna be hard to duplicate. You have to have a good nose in your flower, literal TONS of biomass and most importantly a skilled steamer.
Steaming is a quick way to ruin TONS of flower, so I feel thats why people have a negative rap with them. That and HSI hemp terps tasting like Yerba Mate (sorry hal )
