Does anyone else taste butane when they smoke a bowl with very little left in it? My buddy says he always does but I personally never notice a “butaney/gas aftertaste”

Only if you suck a hole through the bowl. If you load it well, it’s not noticeable.
Avoiding lighter fumes is the whole selling point for hemp wick.

I always throw the flower in the bowl out after 3 hits.
Yes it helps overshadow the plastic-y crack tones. Depends on the brand of baking soda used too.

back in the day I would wrap my lighters in hempwick and use that. The herb iron is also a cool product I would recommend.
Yes, I’d say it’s noticeable even on a fresh hit. But I agree it doesn’t matter really.
Have your boy light a cashed bowl for you to finish, then you will be able to tell if it’s his tech or if your palate is shot lol

I think my palate is just shot lmao. Cause I’ll smoke a bowl till it’s completely white and I mostly just taste ash.
