Hey guys, need some help peicing together a 1 lb cls passive or active, will let you guys decide, wanting to know some benifits of each an such, like is running condensing coils with a passive good or better with active ,or just no coil, i know th obvious like a chiller or warmer, but cold temp im pretty illiterate to any thing past a dewaxing column, i grow my own materiel, 25-28% thc and its fire, so would i even need a crc im just wanting to learn as much as i can, some of you guys are real geniuses,i do read through the forums so please dont come at me with one of those, im basically wanting to get the best product i can on a small scale on small budget, any info helps yall the teachers
Welcome to the future @BLESSEDSINNA! How much material are you trying to run, and what products are your end goal?
You can probably skip the crc altogether, and use dry ice vs a chiller at that scale to keep the initial cost down. Passive is a great way to go, avoiding extra equipment to break down. Either way, whether passive or active, a coil is an excellent way of chilling your gas, but may not be necessary in a small cls.

Thanks @BigM, looking at a 1lb set up i currently have a 1/4 set up with with dewaxing column, that makes pretty good shatter, wanting to make a better shatter ig or at least make sure i have the right stuff for efficiency too woundnt mind spending a lil for for active, bu ig what im geeting at is ive seen some bi directional stuff and of thats better kinda what im getting at if that helps

½"opening for your recovery on your base lid and your tank lid. ¼" for your tank for injection to your closed loop which I o shouldn’t go more than ¼".
½" line for recovery for a 1 LB setup will save you a shit load of money than using a recovery pump.
