Bank of america just unexpectedly shut down out hemp account. Did anyone else get the ax?
Yikes. First I’ve heard of that. Any communication? Keep us posted
The letter says, upon review of your account we have determined you’re operating in a business type we have chosen not to service at BOA. I called and spoke to someone and their boss and they both regurgitated the same statement.
Our business name has hemp in it and has since we opened it last June. I have no idea what triggered this.
Internal changes. Not good.
I’ve been using bank of the west without issue.
We got shutdown at BBVA, and had a review at our current bank. So far so good at current bank, we have 3 now. Would always suggest to collect bank accounts.
Why in the hell hasn’t everybody gotten together to put together a Credit Union for the Hemp, and Cannabis Industry? That would be the best line of action, and is quite possible…
I think
If you’re willing to pay $250 a month for banking
Just wait a few years. All of these corporate cocksuckers will be coming out of the woodworks to collect industry cash that they directly tried to suppress by refusing/suspending service. I look forward to more Cannabis banks to open up. It would be sweet to funnel this cash out of the big banks and back to the people that directly support our industry.
I am working with the Indians for a national solution to cannabis banking. Stay tuned.
My account was closed 2 months ago held my funds for 21 days and sent a lame slow ass check.
Now Blue Vine part of square I think just sent me an update terms of service and my business won’t be able to have that account.
My solution is to change my llc to something lame as fuck and go with a big bank. Had CBD in my name…
