We did all of it remotely, it was a breeze. Mailed us our cards and we havent even stepped foot in the bank.
For us its not a breezy as we cultivate real weed and the answer was no.
B of A will be a hard no lol. If you are licensed and have your paperwork in order there is actually banks (credit unions ) that will work with you pm if you’d like
Agreed. State credit unions for delta9 anything
What was the out of sate bank your using? We are in SoCal and we lately have been having a lot of problems with bank accounts closing.
Salal CU out of Seattle. $500/mo
I can provide Any state specific leads for banking if you’re a THC License. Hemp even easier.
Can you provide a recommendation for FL hemp company?
For hemp/select MED+REC markets just contact https://www.goabaca.com/ if you want quick solutions, they’ll take care of you.
Bank of America… it’s easy…
Till the feds move in and freeze your funds for selling illegal d8
Payqwick has been a great option for us. They charge $300 per month plus 1-1.5% of deposits. This has been the cheapest banking options we’ve found for cannabis touching operators. Ask for bill if you reach out and tell them Chris with nine cloud Cannabis referred you.
im also having issues with getting a hemp business a bank account. Bank of the west said no even though inread a bunch of places they were saying yes.
Most of the credit unions want 1 year of operation and most wont allow ingestable hemp (edibles, tinctures, and even the isolate).
I asked citi bank and they said yes, so im setting up an appointment with them soon, well see
… have you tried Bank of America or do I need more cowbell?
Didn’t know payqwik did banking that’s good to know.
Also: anything not cbd (new hemp derivatives, seed banks, terpenes) needing payment processing / banking / accepting direct payments. I recommend https://transactfirst.com/ and https://billmybank.com/ (They’re the same entity)
They should be able to solve any hemp or cannabis solution square cant. Mention me and I’ll cut you 50% of my referrals back
Yeah my front end is all thru square, and no real problems there, just not being able to deposit is annoying. Ill try bank of america too. Thanks!
From what @robbyc22 said i assumed b o a was a no go
I’ve helped open 10+ hemp boa accounts just by telling people to go to boa. All have succeeded. Thc licenses are very different. Boa is easy for hemp.
Square is the right payment processor to use, unless you’re selling terpenes or seeds or spicy derivatives (d8 etc)
i gotta say @moveweight was right! It was very easy to get an account setup with them, once u actually get an appointment. B of A is the way to go for hemp banking
Best part is their guideline is pretty straight forward.
It must be hemp derived. Nothing cannabis derived. Thats it lol
Has anyone made any progress with thc touching banking in CA? Wondering if now that banks can verify ones license if that’s helped to get accounts easier? We work with cannabis friendly Payqwick who charge $300 a month and 1.25% of deposits which isn’t horrible for the space but traditional banking ease of use is greatly missed.
You can try Transactfirst.com
They have solutions like Billmybank.com for online orders and debit card solutions in person.
They may be able to assist with the best route for deposits. I know they have a solution I just don’t know if it’s better than payqwick
I’ll look into this. Appreciate the help
