Argon dosent prevent oxidation weeks later in the cartridges. Argon is a temporary fix until you open the jars and they’re exposed to air. Customers don’t like purple rings in their carts

What I was referring to, which I bet a lot of people don’t even realize yet is that… if you leave the converted oil on a shelf or in a jar. It till lose about 1% d9 every 2 weeks. It’s called solution/drug stability. It degrades on its own without proper protection being reintroduced.
A few % mothers liquor won’t do it.
I can control the color of the oil as well from basically water clear to bright yellow.

I could add antioxidants too. The goal is to add nothing. Do you think you’re doing something special?
When you make isolate you remove the natural antioxidants.
Do you currently have a converted oil 93+% that dosent oxidize without antioxidants?

And yes I can prevent liters from oxidizing for months too and I’m not adding ML or some antioxidant. My method has to do with preventing it before it even happens as most people get purpling on the quench after the reaction

Several year old converted liters? Who was converting several years ago? It wasn’t economical
Remember when people used to suggest throwing some media into ur boiling flask during distillation to make it clearer? Those were converted liters

Did it oxidize weeks later?
I had some carts that took over a year to start changing color, and it started turning yellow. Also had some test tubes i filled up with a simple cork on it that didnt oxidize for atleast a year, one of the tubes broke and is fully exposed and a very thin red line has shown up but nothing more
Back when i first had the issue of clear carts oxidizing, i found out argon is ur friend and was able to produce clear shelf stable carts wether it was converted or just ultra crced traditional d9 oil.
Rigged up a whole glovebox and all, but people stopped caring about clear and honestly didnt trust that clear was d9 anymore, so ive kinda backed away from trying to produce clear d9 carts, if someone asks for them i can do it but its a pain in the ass to get perfect. Now i just go for “champagne” grade as i like to call it, near clear but not water clear and not yellow.
Havent checked on my carts or tubes in over a year, ill go check those out and snap a pic for an update, they are probably about 3.5 years old now

What % d9 were they?
We’re they made from iso or disti?
Was all the solvent properly purged?

One of them came back as 92% d9 thc and 98% TAC.
One of them was in the 80% TAC with a smorgasboard of thcs, d8, d9, d10, etc.
Both made from disty
After i got the smorgasboard mix i knew what to do and what not to do.

I havent checked these samples out in years, crazy tornado thing going on.
They were both clear for atleast 6-8 months then i stopped checking on them.
If i remember correctly the broken one is the isomerized thc mix.
The second one is the 98% tac, 92% d9 oil.

The brown at the top is what I’m talking about preventing
Place them in a centrifuge see if they all botom down and place a sample on the gc of the dark matter see where it pops on the groma
Wonder if it s higher in cbn than the rest
