My love for building extractors (diy)

So I have to run these first 5k lbs before they’ll let me build the BDEP (Butane Deep Expansion Project) I have drawn out.

But I will say, this will be my showroom model and it’s perfectly positioned and fitted for a 10 x 10’ c1d1 room. (It will require the whole room to properly channel all the lines and allow spacing for foot traffic).

As I go along, I will detail this project with pics and videos in case someone was wanting to build one as well. Just be sure to rent the Swagelok Tabletop Tube bender for the month. But let’s crush it together!

What’s takeoff and what would carryover? The solvent?

The tee and elbow to the path would be the takeoff

So maybe change the mol sieve to the blank, u bend to mol sieve, u bend to the cross current heat X, and finally, down the cold heat X

Injection going through cross current heat X would be 3/4” before it hits top sprayer for warm heat X.

There are a whole series of equations that deal with the thermodynamics of falling film evaporation.

If you have time when you and DA come out to OK, my new lab is in Guthrie. More than welcome to come by and see it run, and tour the 85,000sqft grow facility next door.
