Definitely high quality. Love the work and detail. I went with the waffle style
Badass!!! I can’t wait to see it together1
The filter coins are very clutch. I am also fond of how thick the steel is on the caps. Systems that cost far more, have far less build quality.
I love this bandsaw! Good purchase from Northern Tool. Cuts through 11ga 2” square ss304 like nothing. Just go easy and let the blade do the moving.
Sick dude
Well, other than the dags, I have everything cut and ready for welds tomorrow. Simple rack, nothing special.
Where did you get your material columns?
Judging by the flip flop cut out packaging I’d say glacier tanks.
Cant wait to see this run
Just making sure I can fit a jar underneath the collection before I weld. I think I’m gonna raise the vessel 1” more…
How many of these jars are you expecting to fill with one run :)?
Hopefully many
Don’t forget about the height of wheels or adjustable feet or what ever you go with. Cool build.
Total rack height, 72”. Width 30”.
All jigged up, ready for weld. Just have to grab some argon. Very simple on this rack, but it will have a few plus points that you’ll notice within the week. (Through frame plumbing of Swagelok lines)
I don’t think that would necessarily effect the clearance of the jar with the rack considering the collection column will be mounted onto the rack itself and the height of the wheels/feet wouldn’t change the clearance between the rack and the bottom of the pour spot if that makes sense.
I’ll have 8” clearance from bottom of 3/8” Swagelok valve, to the stainless bottom I’m putting in.
We need more YouTube videos on builds and custom systems
BUYER BEWARE:
The below pictures shows the inside of the ASME 200lb tank I recently purchased from usalab.com which shows scratches on the bottom due to rubbing from the inserted dip tube/cooling coil. I wish they would have removed it and placed it neatly on the outside during shipping. The box was plenty big enough to do that plus have room for padding. Just a pain, cause I can’t get in there to polish it ![]()
That looks rough.
