Music Festivals 2021

As I sit here rolling joints and filling cones preparing for a weekend of outdoor awesomeness, I realized I have yet to start this thread. Let’s share some upcoming music festivals that seem cool.

First up Driftmore Arts & Music Festival this weekend in SW WI. Sorry for not sharing earlier, but if you’re anywhere nearby and like live music, I highly recommend it. It’s all mostly undiscovered little bands, rappers, and dj’s, lots of visual artists, and tons of small festival fun. Tickets are still available at the door.

It would be amazing to see some future peeps there. I’ll be there calling machine elves, burning a forest of trees, and getting down like a complete fool, and you should too!

Seriously, if you can make it out, you wont soon regret or forget it! Super chill people grooving out in one of the coolest venues around. Feel free to hit me up if you need someone to talk you into it!

I was super bummed out when it got cancelled due to covid crap last year. I was buzzing for months off the good vibes last time I went. This is going to be a much needed therapy session, long overdue.

On a different note, Dancesafe was there last time, so yeah, it’s a legit festival if you know what I mean.

Next on the list is another from good ol Wisconsin. Summerfest in Milwaukee just started yesterday. It is absolutely huge! It lasts the next three weekends, and there will be so many different kinds of music it’s insane. Tickets are cheap, the venue was made just for the festival, and the atmosphere is family friendly.

If anyone makes it to Milwaukee for Summerfest, make sure you stop and check out @KindOasis. Not sure which weekend we’re gonna hit the fest, but we’re for sure stopping by to check out the store and snag some gummies.

I know it’s getting late in the year, but there has to be some more good festivals coming up. Post em up in here if you know about any.

We love Electric Daisy Carnival EDC. The fireworks they light off nightly are unbelievable, the vibe and people are super cool, it goes all night 7pm-7am with a variety of electronic music and trippy attractions. It also happens to be the same week MJBiz con is happening this week due to EDC being postponed. It’s another world and super cool experience if you’re ok being around lots of other people and the music

Not a festival, but the Metal Tour of the Year is the Megadeth, Lamb of God, Trivium, and Hatebreed tour. Saw it last night. It was fucking epic! Highly suggest! Still some dates left that haven’t been canceled.

Dude, that’s what’s up! Looks like that tour is playing Knotfest in Iowa. Might have to check that out, because a metal fest would be sweet indeed.

DAVE FOR PRESIDENT.

Also - almost went to Psycho las vegas. The mask mandate in Vegas kind of ruined the prospect of me tripping my balls off for 3 days inside of a casino so I sat this year out until my irresponsibility won’t get myself or others at risk.
