Just cleaned off my bike after a good morning smoke sesh. It’s been forever since I had time to ride. I’m sporting a Yeti SB-95 w/Carbon kit since mid 2013. What mountain bikes are you all rockin? I always hit up Auburn Trails in NorCal. Where is some fun places I can ride? I’m intermediate, but no expert. Here’s my baby:

My wife and I’s whips. Speacilized stump jumper Downiville edition and a pivot Mach 410. We shred all over western Colorado but the RAT trails, telluride, and aspen/snowmass bike parks are where we go most

I have a stock Fuji but my dog ate the tire, derailer and break line so it just hangs in my garage

My daily rider for light trails is a trek 3500 I picked up for 20 bucks in 13’ more than 7 years 10k miles.
Got a giant for some road distance a contend 3 stock since I get too many flats I stopped riding it
@Boomtownpharms - Auburn Trails, eh? I’m up in Nevada City and there are some good trails this way, but the weekends are crowded. I recently retired my 1988 fully rigid Yeti FRO - I’m simply too old for that. Upgraded to a full carbon Orbea Oiz (she’s my Basque mistress).

This is what my kitchen looks like.
I have 3x bikes. I let my kid use the spares now that he is just as big as I am. No point of selling them when I can’t buy him one for that cost.
Last picture is how I train for elevation. I got a saris h3 which can simulate 20 degrees of incline. It’s the hardest climbing ive ever done.

I’ve been craving getting back into riding. I grew up racing downhill in 1998-2001…I need to ride again. Hard to put up a Craigslist ad that says will trade hash oil for large trail bike. Sooner or later I’ll be on the trails again. Keep posting to inspire a broken old adrenaline junkie…to get on the bike again…
