MLABS Secure Phone (Sidco Endorsed!)

“FBI branch had been working with a person who had been developing a “next-generation” encrypted device for use by criminal networks. The person was facing charges and cooperated with the FBI in exchange for a reduced sentence. The person offered to develop ANOM and then distribute it to criminals through their existing networks.”

I remember it was around 11,000 phones they were able to sell and gather something like 50m text messages.

It’s not just the FBI you would need to worry about too, but people in the industry would also love your data as well, and this phone was made by people in the industry.

Edit: I noticed a few other things off about this, can’t look at their website now cause they took it down, but on the web archive you can look at it. They mention in their “plans” “Monthly Hardware Refresh”

Like, WTF does that even mean, they gonna send me a new phone every month? Did they mean a Sofware update? for software they don’t even develop? They gonna wipe my phone and clean install automatically? I have no idea WTF that means really. Seems like a tearm they heard an IT guy use and thought it was a thing or something.

The CEO who is the creator of Samsung Knox is really gonna use language like that?

It’s like a chemist telling you to “azeotrope the mixture”

This stuff is comedy gold and I welcome anyone who wants to defend it, so I have a reason to dig more.

Didn’t realize the Pixel 6a which this is based on was so cheap, but now after realizing. I wanted to mention something.

The Pixel 6a which this is based on goes for $340 new on Amazon (from the official Google store) and mlabs is charging $1300 for their phones.

It was mentioned that the phone updates straight from Grapheneos servers so, it’s a straight stock Grapheneos.

You would be paying them almost $1000 for them to flash Graphene on the phone and send it to you. And not only that, but you would also potentially be getting a less secure phone.

sounds like a bargain!

They’re also down to 299 now, so even cheaper.

Monthly Privacy Review

Ahh yes, your privacy was private this month.

Wouldn’t they have to monitor your phone to do that?

People in the industry want to monitor your phone.

If you wanna be part of the cool kids club you have to go with the premium option. What’s $2k a month? Sheesh. :joy::rofl::joy:

Who they think they are, Gucci?

But it’s Sidco Endorsed™! Don’t question, just buy! He only takes a small cut of the sale, this is totally something you should get, and it’s definitely 100% legit, they’ve been very forthcoming with responses to all potential criticisms and questions, if you don’t believe that you’re a narc. Don’t question, just buy!

You all have very valid claims and concerns. People are paying for the phone. Some people don’t know how to or care to learn how to load GrapheneOS, and set it up properly. You get it done out of the box plus the plans you mention include security training and compliance reports and are targeted at I think 50+ employees type companies. @Lincoln20XX, Question everything, don’t be silly. We are working on hash verification system so you can be sure there is a way lower chance of an evil maid attack in the mail. I also think the 6a was less expensive and the 1300 was the 7/7pro, they sell all the pixel options.

@Lukewarm
They make some setting changes that graphene os doesnt do out of the box, and do some profile setup for you that further secures the phone.I really don’t know how to respond to the claim it could be a spy phone (more than any other phone already is). I suppose they could put malware on it that is sophisticated enough to evade an IDS (suricata/snort). Personally I think they should release the sauce (ADB script/ rom) open source so you can flash it yourself and be sure it is malware free but they are having issues with releasing their IP/google getting mad at them about it. The difference is these are people who’s addresses are known and want to sell a secure phone, not a black market on TOR.

How would you sell a Secure Phone better? Honest question. Trust is a huge issue, and like @Lincoln20XX at some point you shouldn’t trust anyone, even yourself, so you do it all yourself because that’s the best option you have. Some people pay other people. Just how it be.

solder in a hardware switch for the microphone and cameras for starters, gps/wifi/bluetooth too like the pinephone

pinephone pro might be able to manage more android builds now that it has 4 gigs of ram

Personally, I don’t do illegal stuff on my phone so I prefer official stock software and don’t install very many apps. Samsung and Google is not gonna care about my contacts and gps locations.

Just thought I’d asked some tough questions and have a bit of fun cause someone has too.

Not being against the product when I say this; You can pay in person to get GrapheneOS loaded for a price at certain places.

That was/is our other product.

We don’t charge monthly for the phone. Your average consumer replaces a phone every 22 months anyway.

I’m really happy you know what an LLC is for. That’s basic business 101. That’s the point of a corporation…limit liability…

Knox is not integrated into the phone. We have him on the team to have big box contracts - 1000 phones at a time.

This phone was designed by the end users for the end users. We don’t care if you believe us or not. Watching y’all with your conspiracy theories on how this phone works, our intentions and how far y’all going down a rabbit hole is hilarious.

Y’all will and will always eat your own.

It’s not about graphene itself but how the code is configured. A poorly setup security solution is at the end of the day much worse then no security.

What’s the password to enter the site I wanna see the specs

Nice to have the player in the chat now, so concerns can be answered appropriately.

Your phone needs to be your most secure device, so I find having concerns very valid.

Convenience for a Custom OS Phone with OTA AOSP with incredible features and less bloatware. Salt Salt Saltyyyyy Saturday. Show of hands how many flash their own phones?
 I dare say more than half these users can barely navigate their Browsers to stop ads. The only ones complaining and tossing in cents would be the ones who DIY and aren’t a potential customer lmao.

No - you are your most secure device. If you don’t know that - you should not be dishing out any advice on privacy and security.

@moveweight nor would they know how to configure it correct.
