just back to hotel ,trying to look bqck these three days which cost more then 50k USD ,travelling expense not included . There was literally no traffic since day 2 morning even we are on a very good location
Of course we did meet a lot of friends here ,new and old . Just don’t think it’s worth paying that big money any longer .Had to book a large booth at 50k USD for next year
What product or service are you providing? We were looking into going, but it literally seems like the entire convention is packaging companies. It’s also hard to justify a $600 ticket to talk to vendors in person when they have no problem using email.
Also, it seems the convention was extremely oversaturated with packaging companies, and it was taxing just scrolling through the list of vendors with identitical products or services.
Boy, ain’t that the truth. Every year more packaging and edibles and less processing (and what there is, maybe just like 2-3 booths have anything innovative).
That said, I didn’t spend $50k and I think I got enough leads for it to more than pay for itself.
Only reason I wouldve gone wouldve been to socialize with some of the companies im already talking with.
But I already found my packaging company, so i didnt see the point.
Im still checking on here and on youtube to see if there was a product or company that I didnt find and isnt packaging, or selling packaging equipment.
It was pretty horrible like I predicted. I couldn’t imagine paying 50k+ for that type of traffic. I did like 6 laps to make sure I didn’t miss anything. My step counter said I walked nearly 30 miles in 2 days.
The traffic was about 10% of what it was in 2018-2019. It was spread out a bit more with cultivation in its own hall.
It was so funny hearing all the people that never seen my face. lol. @MagisterChemist had no clue he was explaining his membrane tech to me. lol. He was certainly explaining like I had absolutely no clue at anything I was looking at.
as an International exhibitor I can feel how bad it is since the traveling expense is higher. I’m lucky enough that my customer bring his team to help me exhibit and they are definitely the most energy team in the whole expo , they handed out all our DUO sample on day one. if you look at other exhibitors they had nothing to do but just wait for more visitors. I appreciate all members here who gave us a visit.
I’m not complaining but just look forward to hearing vocie on how to make the expo better. the indusr definitely needs a best expo which gather as more people as possible
did you come by our booth ? sorry failed to remember all details . ROI is honestly the least thing I would consider, just do believe the whole community deserve the best expo
It was a pleasure to meet you, you had a great booth. Overall I feel like I nerworked enough and got ROI. We spent $50k, got some white labels, passed out hundreds of our products in the parking lot/events.
Bizcon is shrinking. Vegas will keep it alive. I see it as a networking and branding event so doubt if it will collapse. For us it always pays off. I’d feel irrelevant if we were not there. Yes the ROI is lowering but certainly better that every other US show. Spannabis for us has had the best ROI. I wish there were cups or similar events during MJBiz. We did a demo at our buddy’s lab and Jane killed it. We will definitely grow that next year as the show and tell helped a ton.
We did Legends. Will do Dabadoo and Masters in Barcelona. Maybe Legends LA once more of the Plasmastatic guys get noticed. Marcus was open to a Plasmastatic category but not sure we would pull have enough participants. Maybe for next year. In spain for sure we have enough for a category.
