This is pretty nuts. As someone who’s been in contact with all of the relevant law firms, legislators, department heads, etc for the past 10 months - everyone thought this suit would be thrown out. The initiative+draft regs were going to create an open market akin to OK, potentially even more open. I guess we all should’ve read John Grisham’s novel The Appeal!

What a coincidence that they accidentally invalidated all future voter initiatives by failing to update the relevant law. It’s almost as if legislators don’t like the citizens making laws.
