Does anyone have experience using this method with cannabis? What is the extracted product and required upgrading?
This is not for large scale extraction this is for analytical sample preparation.
There is at least one company I know of applying this process to scaled up cannabinoid extraction.
Their process is proprietary and patent protected.
From what I can tell, they are heating material to the specific flash point (vaporization temp) of the targeted cannabinoid using microwave then collecting the vapors with vacuum as they are released from the plant material. The vapor is condensed and chilled and collected as an oil.
