Since i started in this industry ive heard of this fabled product. Never did i expect to end up where i am now.
The other day i was able to take some of the stock distillate Doug’s Varin had and distill it at extremely tight tolerances. I was able to go from a 50:50 ratio of thc:thcv to 19:81 in a single pass. Im curious if anyone is interested in the legal market for different concentrations. We will be producing super high ratios of thcv to thc in the near future. But the more i experiment, the more i find its not as simple as pure thcv, the combination does have merit as well. Were working on our offerings to the industry really soon.
I cant give specifics on the bp in my experience but i will say it was much lower then i expected. So might be good to be aware when distilling, you may be loosing some good stuff to your heads fraction.

I’ve been waiting for THCV to come to the table for a while now. I heard about a cart that was 26% THCV and was upset when I couldn’t confirm it, much less find out what type of extract it was, what were the other numbers for other cannabinoids, etc.
This would have been mid-2017, and the context was a glass blower / vendor meet up at Degenerate Flame Off. I’m excited and nervous about how the public will receive it. Glad others are playing with it and seeing what potential it has.
Added note: From a compliance standpoint, THCV may be one of the first cannabinoids to become as regulated (if not more-so) than THC itself (no evidence, just IMO). I think it has the potential to be that potent, especially to those without previous tolerance.

Tried some of the 81:19 today and last night. Its so nuts. Wickedly different.

Wickedly different good or Wickedly different bad? Less psychoactive effects? Did it keep you awake?
Sorry for the cross-examination. I’m just super curious about it. Some weird anecdotal experiences I’ve only heard through the grapevine.

Well it still has some thc in the cart so its not 100% pure and my tolerance for thc is super weak so that affected me as well. But id say the idea of balancing sugar in the blood makes sense. I didnt get the munchies or shakes like with thc… and i actually felt really good… my mind was alert and a little speedy actually. No real fog. The only thing i noticed adverse and it may have been the thc. Is i would have senile moments of complete confusion that would last super short but id be like confused what i was doing for a quicK sec… i never have that so i know if was the cart. May have been the thc thought because that does that to me
