Marocco 2024 exotics

So it s the time of year these are exotics
( not local race / landrace
Gooing in the field by local farmer
Seed price locally is around 1€ femenized strains are honestly unknown
Yust by looking at seed structure it s obvious as well as growing up diffrance can be noted supposedly 2 strains but I think I identified 5
The first crop of beldia has been harvested and by next week the next will be placed in
Nutrients are a bit rare and and not much used on this grow so well see how it works out
I ll keep an update once in a while

Oefff I have done several outdoor grows in life where the whole process was left to the locals and I yust cared for the profit I
But since this seems to be home for a few years I am now realizing how little I know and how rudementry growing is preformed here
All farmers have answers and they are probably right but there is very little scientific approach
I have been harvesting all insects I can of the crops still in the field to try and identify them and hopefully be prepared for next years crop

And I have a million questions

First question
If all you use for nutrients is salts and urea and nothing else
Would it not make sense to at least
Have a acitic ph for your water ?
Looking at small changes that I asume will have impact and the water fed is at ph 9 overhere but honestly never cultivated with agricultural nutrients

Got to soil test

Strains from arid areas like arid climate and soil with lots of minerals and not a lot of nutrients and don’t necessarily yeild a lot

Strains from lush areas need more nutrients and will give it up and they like organic matter and npk

That s another discussion
I was thought soul from different places on the plot Taken at 60 cm below the surface
National agricultural lab claims 20 cm

Exactly so we are talking here about lush area strains ( foreign )
That in my opinion should get a more nutritional dieet
But oeffff the task to get that done is massive

If your water is acidic, chances are it has a level of EC and will provide some fertilization. High ph water on the other hand has a higher Cation Exchange Capacity and therefore will allow more nutrient uptake.

Sandy soil generally has less negatively charged particles and therefore has a lower CEC

A option would be to capture, increase, and apply IMO (indigenous micro organisms) to the area. IMO can increase water holding capacity and soil fertility. It costs nothing but labor and you make it on site.

What are you growing for? Flower? Cbd? Thc?

How much space are you trying to fertilize? And where will you be getting your fertilizer?

In the US we would take this test to the grain elevator and tell them what the crop is and they would formulate a blend to apply.

Soil tests don’t normally show a nitrogen value because N is so volatile. Normally a farmer will apply more than one type of N to the soil - such as 75% time release before planting and 25% fast acting during the growing season

We want to do cbd, on one hectare plot, currently in Zimbabwe there is no one offering this service for cannabis.

Same for me well have to figure it out ourselves although I might yust send a few samples to the Netherlands for testing
These are the nutrients used on the crops I showed up in the tread
