Then I better bring them inside. It’s just two. I’ve got an old switchable 1000w hps/mh but I need a new bulb. Any recommendations? I’d like to switch to cmh, and I will eventually build a dedicated grow room. But for now the 1k is what I’m working with.
Hortilux is the standard for hps. The cheap bulbs off amazon can yield about 50% less. I have seen it side by side, unfortunately, due to a bulb mixup.

When I got started, I ran the elcheapo apollo bulbs, ballast, and cool tube. 1x600 yielded 17.62oz dried n cured.
Ain’t nothing wrong with elcheapo. I still use china glass and mantle. 0 issues in 25+runs on 5 setups.

Here is the cheapo brand I originally used for a seed run. It got mixed up with a hortilux and used for budding later, beside a real hortilux and covering the same hydro system with clones of the same strain. The buds under the hortilux were 2x the size. I cant speak for every off brand, but this one is garbage
