I am reading about how check the parts and the ratings
The best thing you can do is just buy yourself some high pressure clamps
For every part of your system. Youâre being taught how to figure it out, but the best course of action is to buy new HP clamps for every part of your system. Talk to @Killa12345, and can get you squared away with the proper stuff
Wait so youâre saying I pour, and if I have the correct saturation I wonât need to burp for the duration of the formation?
Donât mean to Jack the thread, but I still canât seem to figure this out there is SO much info saying different things about saturationâs and burpingâŚ
Why would you need to burp if you saturation is already perfect? The point of burping is to release solvent to help dial in your saturation levels.
Have you done it yet? Just get at it and start trying. Itâs not something youâll grasp until you do it yourself
At what point did they quit teaching what the fuck super saturation is? I mean I made rock candy when I was in like 2nd, or 3rd gradeâŚ
So that makes sense when you put it like that lol. So then my question is this. If saturation levels are perfect, will my lids still bulge? I keep ending up with isolate particulate sugar. Iâve tried it for sure. Done multiple runs but I always go back to pouring trays because it just seems hard. I know about doing it with actual sugar, maybe Iâll start giving that a try?
The thing about sugar is I can just add until it stops dissolving to find the saturation level right? But I canât really do that with my pour⌠am I being dumb and asking for too much spoon here?
Canât you?
Take that sugar youâve made. Weight some and put it in your collection. Add âtane of choice at temp of choice to taste.
Did it all go in?
Adjust and try again.
Use you phone camera. On zoom. Makes reading part numbers possible in places you canât get your eyeballs on too.
This 1/4â prv should open at 150PSI and flow 132 Cubic Feet/min at âstandardâ conditions (not sure what those are in this contextâŚbut Iâm sure the all knowing one has useful things to say scfm vs cfm - Google Search).
They shouldnât budge if your at the right saturation level. Double up on the metal lids if your worried about it. Just pour your collection into your jars before to much butane evaporates and youâll be able to adjust until the levels are right.
The guys are right itll click in your head when you start doing it!
Doesnât that depend on temperature, and terpene ratio too though? Or is it literally just burp here and there until it stops pressurizing to the point of a lid bulging?
@kiowa30 Iâm wondering if thats lipids/fats in the bottom of your jar? I made a post questioning a similar looking wash here: Is this crystalization or lipid separation? - #33 by Rowan
Dudes been gone for a while. I hope heâs alright.
Well temperature yes but the saturation level is really important. I havenât gone back and burped itâs like a set it and forget it tek you cap the jar after you pour from collection and when it gets to that honey consistency you cap it and leave it alone.
The lids should only budge if you have far to much butane still in there. This is why we wait till honey consistency after the pour then you cap it. It might take a few tries but youâll get it bro. The jars work very well for making diamonds ![]()
Yeah Iâm playing with it currently a lot. Just still seems so beyond me. I think the temp is a big factor I still am not dialing in correctly. Also my partner and I are still convinced terpene to solvent ratio plays a roll in the lids bulging. And also the pour out temperature has got to be a factor as well. Iâll tell you one thing though weâre making some fire THCA and HTe
just chasing those big stones
Fuck Yeah Homie!!! Get that hsit!!! whether itâs sugar or what itâs all good
Looks like that may have some solvent in it still.
Color and diamond size look great!

It may have I just opened the jar do
You guys let them air dry ? Or pull a vac on them
I read a few where they separate them and air dry the diamonds and purge the terp sauce will it still stay sauce ?
