Strains can play a big role in forming faceted and larger stones. Your tek on how much solvent is left in your mother liquor and when you cap your jars can also play a role in size and formation. If you want big stones fast i suggest using W1 but you are going to sacrifice a small yield loss and lose some of the terp profile so that choice is up to you. remember big stones are for flexing but don’t mean the product is better.
Here is W1 fresh frozen this run was finished in 4 days.

I second this, use W1 and watch them thangs drop really quick.

Do not reuse the powder for several runs as subsequent runs will not form facets that well. I think it’s because the mixture is not acidified to the same extent on subsequent runs.

Wow good insight, even if the several runs dwell in the same collection vessel?

Id be really surprised if it was not a re-x, no reason not to.

I haven’t tried several runs in the same pot, but I once ran like 20lbs through the same powder stack (de cake with w1 on top), same material, same temp, same soak time…

Each successive jar became less and less and less crystallized and would just turn into that high viscosity soup that you end up having to turn into sugar. The first jar, though, grew some fatties

Dont you worry about the acid ending up in your end product?

At the rate this group works, I’d be looking to make that sale by Friday if I were @TheWillBilly. It would sure suck to wake up tomorrow to an sop posted up here while you were trying to run a bidding war for said sop.

To be honest, I need to research the mechanism by which an “acidic” powder “acidifies” The mixture that passes across it, but the process occurs by adsorption so chemicals aren’t being picked up by the media but the composition of the mixture on one side of the powder vs the other has a lower pH.

If you’re doing it correctly nothing should be added from the powders to the mixture.

This reminds me of the beginning times of crc. Its almost like some biblical story. There was @Waxplug1 @HaggardShitFuck and @ogcannabis in those early days. You see people like @Dred_pirate and @murphymurri crushing it educationally. @Soxhlet @Killa12345 and every manufacturer/ distributor of equipment and consumables is benefiting off the shift in our collective knowledge.

I look forward to this chapter. Looks like we got @TheWillBilly , @J12 and maybe a currently unknown underdog out there. Stoked to see how this ends up

@Future I think this is what the forum is about right? Leveling up together  I really don’t mean to attack your paycheck willbilly. I wish you the best!

I’ve fully admitted Crc completely changed the way my business operates. It’s nothing like it was when I went to @bg305 farm with @Dred_pirate

It’s been a wild ride the last 18 months. Hope I’ve done most proud.

I done more sales today than I did in any month before feb 2019. Today was a record sales day for the business

@TheWillBilly @J12 has already stated the way he get huge stones is re-x multiple times. If you are really getting stones that large in 24hrs you cant be a re-x as that would take quite a few days not 24hrs.Or did you mean your last re-x took 24hrs?

Do you prewash the powders before use? Have you ever noticed a taste difference between the first run though your stack vs a second run though the same powders?
