So I think that the raw sample I sent to the lab decarbed a little and, then, they do some sort of actual low-heat drying and my D9 THC came back at 2%, legit. Am in last week or two of grow. Any chance I can do something with potassium or nitrogen to encourage alternate parts of plant to grow to enlarge so that the D9 total percentage would fall under 0.3%. am trying to grow THCa flower and my THCa levels are around 20%. Am going to cryo-cure my flower using flash freezing and vacuum pump and chamber, then resend, but anything I can do on the grow-side to lower D9? UV lighting? Especially if it’s a natural method and won’t ruin the THCa content. Thank you, in advance!

Still hopeful. Read something about using high potassium levels during final flowering and that could lower it, a bit.
Nitrogen if you wanna be a #1 stunta

Nope
And it s a bitch althou for different reasons it s in my interest to have the lowest possible amount of thc in my cannabis flower at harvest
And althou some members claim that certain cannabis flowers have ND Or less than 0.1% thc on them (@cyclopath ) I still have to find them
Several members have been so kind to send me heaps of coa s that all had some thc on fresh harvested flower
And more on fresh cured flower
And from these and some r and d from the past UV light is defenatly a culprit
As is heat (35C>) and time
As for your problem gooing from 2% to less than 0.3% I would say impossible since it would imply gaining 7x there mass Wich even with the old scam of winding fishing leads in your flowers is infeasible sorry

Just asking, do you really think so or am I being stupid? Any chance to degrade the D9 to CBN, then, maybe?
No chance to keep my levels, now, but degrade the THC to CBC, maybe?
Meant degrade to CBN, sorry.
CBC nor CBN are an option with the knowlidge so far nowadays

It’s not the answer you’re looking for, but your question makes me wonder if breeding offers a solution. I have seen a lot of interesting crosses with ducks foot, australian bastard, and hops. Thca would drop, but one might still end up with flower useful for extraction.

Whoa that’s a very interesting route
So a male cannabis plant with a female hops plant crossing ?? Or vice versa
Does it even happen ? Is the result of this crossing called cannabis ???
@cyclopath would this be possible

I have seen seeds of a hops cross on strainly, but not at the moment. Heres a random blog about someone elses effort:

A breeder called ibean.poppin has some pretty interesting crosses using freakshow, Australian bastard, ducks foot, etc. I haven’t tried any of his genetics yet but it’s on my list.

Just lab shop. Thats what all the other guys are doing.

With plants, all kinds of things are possible. Usually the solution they take to”these chromosomes don’t seem to pair right, is just to double everything so the DO pair…
Nope, no longer cannabis

Depending on what state you’re in and how they require samples to be collected you could have a hot crop, stay safe out there

Or you could cross with something that wouldn’t raise THCa, like THCV, if someone could isolate a THCV strain.
Parallels to the benefits of growing CBDV hybrids. buy my seeds

I’m SO interested in a THCv strain!
