Hi everybody. I tried searching for distillate to crumble on future4200 and google and couldn’t find anything.
Would anybody here please let me know if you have a SOP for turning distillate into crumble and I know it may not be possible but i thought it would be worth the time to post and see if anybody had an sop for said process!
I really appreciate it and apologize ahead of time if I missed it in the search. Tried really hard.
Crumble Has thca, terps, fat/wax in it. Distillate does not. it’s also fully decarboxylated if it was distilled and so has no thca and will never be a solid at room temperature.
This would be dishonest if you did it but I guess you could add some fat, thca crystals and terps and make crumble. Likely a hemp sop exists for this…
Can you get me understand the issue? I’m assuming that you’re purchasing bulk distillate for carts or something and you’re adding a line to your offering?
I could be off base here and this is not what the OP is interested in, but this is something being done with d8 distillate. More specifically the intent is to replicate traditional d9 extract textures using d8 distillate to be able to then charge more, in some cases even passing it as a d9 product (mostly on the BM and rampant on the east coast).
I get it. The cannabinoids will find their way to the people. D8 is like opening a floodgate into a starved market. One of the nicest things I tried this weekend in Michigan was some Hemp Crumble from a North Carolina hemp processor.
I’m no scientist, but I’m pretty sure this was a little over the .3% limit. But it was so light and airy. I prefer CBD with a little THC, even sub-perceptible. Wouldn’t it be grand of all those people in the Midwest could consume hemp extracts with a little native THC? But strangely, they can’t. What they can have is highly processed CBD that is synthetically derived into THC.
And now, we want it all. We can have THC (d9 included) if derived from CBD. So, I’ll bet this is about D9 but it’s from CBD.
How much more crap will we do to this oil to get it to be what it just wanted to be in the first place?
I suggest you start your reading there. I also suggest you gain some basic knowledge on how distillate and crumble are made (so you may understand the nature of the question you asked).
They were extremely generous with their time and attention. Carbon Chemistry is going to be doing some exciting things with them. I’m really looking forward to heading back out and spending more time in Michigan.
