Looking for someone that has Vetted Cannabis Feasibility experience indoor to help write a grow BP

Hey all. I know that we are running a little behind times and that they are going to be people all over the world that say they have the perfect Business Plan for a indoor grow. We are a small group of farmers that are looking to start a indoor grow. We have reached out to several people to try to help with this project and have come up short either we are not reaching the right person or EI the people that we have talked with just don’t know enough about the business. Any help here would well appreciated and as we all know this is Future4200. Many thanks ahead

Growing weed and writing business plans are two different skills. It would probably help if you shared your state, if in the us. Getting a license varies a lot depending on where you plan to operate.

Can you provide specifics of what you are looking for? Are you looking for a business plan that will be submitted to the State for part of a licensing process, or is this more of an operational business plan / financial analysis that will work for your internal team as a step by step guide and budget? Happy to talk more about it and depending on the state, get you set up with some qualified people to execute the parts that need outsourcing.

Yes we are looking for someone to write a business plan as part of a state licensing process, the state hasn’t finished writing rules and regulations yet. It would also be financial analysis to work off from with a team. Sorry that I don’t have all the answers I’m new to this part of the industrial and learning a lot as I go

Which state?

No apologies needed- we are all new to different aspects of launching a cannabis business. I was a Botanist, ran grows for a while, and now focus on packaging. But we are building a lab for distillate and gunny production, so I am constantly in over my head from a tech standpoint. Anyway- depending on what state you are in, I can offer some advice more in the financial planning, ops and buildout side.

MS is the state I’ve focused most on for the past 6 months - I’m in contact with relevant legislators, law firms, etc. The lawsuits need to be resolved before the regulations are written (it’ll likely take 2-4 months), so I wouldn’t allocate much time (or cash) towards the granular details of the plan until they are. In the meantime, feel free to reach out as we offer financial planning, business plan development, application support, cultivation facility development, genetic selection, SOP development, etc.

Yes I totally agree. Madison County has done all they can to try to stop it. I think that only having 4 out of the 5 congressional seats would have stop it from getting on a ballot. The people have voted on it and it passed with 78% of the vote. I know that the MS Department of Health is working on the law and regulation now as we speak. Thanks for reaching out for sure

MO Department of health wrote regs and did implementation here in Missouri. Our ballot measure passed in November of '18 and the first dispensaries opened October/November of 2020. Hope you guys have a faster rollout than we did here.
