We are doing 30g extractions so that we get enough to satisfy the 3rd party labs sampling requirements (2g iirc).
potential clients manifest us a sample. We extract. We submit (entire extraction) for testing in the standard fashion. Results end up in metrc. Anything over the 30g we asked for is “wasted” appropriately. Yields are getting more predictive as we gain experience. may still need to upgrade extraction vessel(s) to solve properly
If it passes, and yield/color/quality/price all look appropriate, we buy.
When plotting that route, I should have revisited testing rules, but any fails are only tied to the specific package that comes in the door, so we don’t have any adverse consequences with or without “R&D” testing.
