I wouldnt take it that serious… I use to round up funding for large chemical refineries in Southeast TX and it’s on another level to get funding for half a billion dollar projects (when most of these companies didnt even need the funding source for their wallets) 150M for a single facility, in cannabis, will be a wall street sit down. I’ve worked alongside Chemtech and other large companies before they even thought about cannabis distillation. That much water, for what? I do large indoor facilities and we auto reclaim the a/c drips and keep the same water in rotation. Hell, we only keep 5000 gallons at one facility that we havent changed out in nearly 3 years.
Sounds like they are trying to do what Americann Inc is doing. i like their model.
Their Massachusetts facility is almost ready for growing.

Looks like “rent” is 15% of gross sales at this facility.
Ask for equity! Your knowledge is worth more than you think
“You will give them a shopping list of every piece of extraction & lab equipment that you will need to produce at your top-level and they will provide.”
This.
They want a shopping list of equipment
There is the same idea happen in Canada as well, they are trying to bring in international talent to rent out their state of the art facility. They will handle all regulatory issues and get you up and running.
its a tough go, lots of crying from people in the area.
Yeah you need to get paid for consulting before you give em one more piece of info. If they really have 150 million$$$ then they can afford to pay you $100k to help them for 3 months
Send me a DM. Very interested! Already looking for property to lease as we speak.
For those in question of facilities as such.
They’re popping up, you just gotta really work through the bullshit & see the real ones who will put you to work in the industry.
Yeah I agree. I’ll be speaking with him again tomorrow.
Thanks for your input
Thanks that’s a great idea. I’ll bring that up and see what happens
It wouldn’t surprise me in a situation like this. They are assuming gross sales will be high once everything is going
Hmmm, good point! I didn’t think of that.
I’m pretty sure they want tenants in their facility though
Who would give them $150M in loans, are they trying to raise any form of equity investment? If they are, ask for their investment materials and see what numbers they’re projecting for the X% of sales they’ll take from the businesses.
I don’t consult or produce product myself unfortunately but you’re exactly right.
I was contacted to help find talent in the different areas of extraction such as , BHO, ETH, C02, etc that would be interested in walking into a turn-key facility with no money down to run their business and be a tenant in their facility.
I was told the barebones of info & after everyone’s great reply I have a lot to tell him tomorrow and will hopefully have more information on the project.
Wow, that’s pretty interesting. From my conversations with them, it seems like a similar project
Sending DM now
I know a lab who started in a similar business model. The lab owners bought the equipment and was placed in a warehouse with other labs/packaging/distro companies. They all had individual containers. The leasing was free till they had sales and this was a huge relief. scientist shoukd be in the lab and not dealing with political burrecarcy on leasing approvals. Plus dropping bank on equipment and have to figure out how to pay rent is a real headache. Most companies can’t survie 1 year operation of no profit in the pockets. It’s actually a great model because having a community there is a lot of networking happening. Perfect fir start up
I’ll be waiting for your job offer.
Unfortunately it’s this crazy catch 22 that exists. Owners do need to know whats going on, but building comprehensive parts lists and disclosing SOPs etc. is classified as paid consulting for sure. Knowledge is valuable.
