Anyone have a good source for vape quality rosin that isn’t insanely expensive? I can decarb it, but I’m looking for under $6 a gram, and ideally closer to $5.
I wish I could make something vape ready out of our high quality hand only indoor dry trim, but I doubt there’s a method that could yield a good color on it unless I am unaware of developments in the rosin game. Unfortunately going to have to source.

Why not source rosin terps and use thca diamonds and decarb those
Have you even tried washing your dried hand trim? Try it.
And yes there is a method for lightening rosin…kind of. Spoon: remove some terps
I haven’t but I plan on washing some this week to see how it turns out.
So you’re saying to reduce color degradation during the press stage, first vacuum oven off some terps after you wash and before you press? And that removing the terps reduces the oxidation potential and reduces discoloration, potentially making vape quality rosin from dry trim more possible?

You can absolutely make some good hash for much less work. Just have to have to proper tools. then do mechanical separation or if you have a fuge, in the words of Fred Willard “ dj spin that shit”. Pull terps off decarb isolated thca, reintroduce solventless terps for “maximum heady” formulation.
