Shot in the dark, but I am looking for an old version of Chemstation, if anyone has any version from 5 through 10 and would be willing to email me a copy of the software it would help me out tremendously to get my autosampler working!

From what I saw in my lil` bit of googling it looks like it PREVIOUSLY was a free software but you need to be licensed after a certain version - any idea what version that started at?

Looks like they require a license sadly, I just stopped by the local university and I talked to a professor who had no problem with me copying the software. Went to her lab and the grad students were very chill, copying the software now. Itll take about three hours, but if it works, when im done I am more than happy to share it with anyone here. Seemed to be a newer version from 2012

You’ll likely need a license for this once you’ve installed the copy. I think this happened to me a few years back and I could only use the CDS for 30 days or something before it started asking for a license again…

Got it working! Goodbye peaksimple! Goodbye manual injection! Chemstation is much nicer, I can finally get my autosampler hooked up! Thank you again!

what OS did you install under?
I installed version six on windows 95, the PCI card I happened to already have on hand only worked with up to version six, and I couldnt get it to run on anything newer than windows 95 sadly.
I ordered a much newer PCI card from ebay that arrived today, so I should be able to get that installed in a newer tower tm. The newer PCI card I got on ebay should run up to version 12, so ill report back on which version of windows I can get it to work after Ive messed around with it a bit.
